Chinchilla Lions Club 2022 Christmas Lights Competition Entry Terms & Conditions

1. All entrants (which may include residents and businesses) must be residents of Chinchilla.
   
   
2. First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize will be awarded for each category
   
   
3. Perpetual Trophies will be awarded to:

5. Business Display
6. Business Window Display
   
   
7. Value of prizes – CCCI Christmas Community Spirit Vouchers. Details of the vouchers can be found https://chinchilla.com.au/ 
8. 1st $100
9. 2nd  $75
10. 3rd  $50
11. Grand Champion  $150
    
    
12. The Grand Champion will be selected from all entries received.
    
    
13. Entrants in the Children’s Section – Outdoor Christmas Tree are to have the permission of their parents/guardians to enter
    
    
14. Entrants agree to have their address published in the Chinchilla Lions Club 2022 Christmas Lights Competition Listings map
    
    
15. Displays are to be mounted on property exterior and visible from the street frontage of the nominated address.
    
    
16. All entrants understand that their display may be photographed and these photos may be used in the promotion of the event.
    
    
17. Chinchilla Lions Club will record your name, residential address, email address and telephone number in order to process your 2022 Christmas Lights Competition entry.
     
18. The information will only be accessed by Club members and/or delegates to organise judging of the event and promotion of competition winners.
    
    
19. Entrants’ information will not be disclosed to any other person or agency unless you have given permission or we are required by law.
    
    
20. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be considered.
    
    
21. All entrants will be notified of the competition results and winners will receive their prize following judging.
    
    
22. Entrants must take into consideration their local environment and neighbours and ensure their displays represent no danger to the general public. Consideration must be given to noise and the levels of light emitted by your display.
    
    
23. Entries close 4pm Monday, 13th December 2022. Judging will commence Thursday, 15th December 2022. Winners will be notified 17th December 2022.
